2. The Huawei Loggers allow a third party to read inverter information via Modbus TCP. Refer to Reference A or B. In either case, log into the Huawei Logger as an "Advanced User". Navigate to the "Settings->Modbus TCP" area, and then set the following parameters
a. If the Ardexa device has a static address, then select "Settings->Modbus TCP->Enable (Limited)" and enter the IP address of the Ardexa machine.
b. If the Ardexa device has a DHCP address (not static), then select "Settings->Modbus TCP->Enable (Unlimited)".
c. In most cases, set Address mode to "Settings->Modbus TCP->Comm. Address". If the devices connected to the COM ports of the SmartLogger have duplicate communications addresses, you must set Address mode to "Settings->Modbus TCP->Logical address"
d. Reboot the Huawei Logger
3. Advise Ardexa of the following:
a. How many inverters are connected, and.
b. The RS485 addresses of all those inverters.
4. Ardexa will check connectivity before you leave the station, via the designated Slack channel.
